| A cockapoo (also called a spoodle or cockerpoo) is a hybrid dog, bred for the first time in the United States, by crossing an American Cocker Spaniel or English Cocker Spaniel and a poodle (in most cases the miniature poodle or toy poodle), or by breeding cockapoo to cockapoo. Overall Cock-A-Poos are Healthy, Happy Dogs and make Great Family Pets!! As with a lot of smaller dogs they tend to Live a Long Happy Life, and it's not unusual for Cock-A-Poos to Live for 15-20 Years Cock-A-Poos have become popular because they generally combine the Outgoing, Fun Loving Personality of the Cocker Spaniel with the Low-Shedding, Low-Dander Qualities of the Poodle. The Poodle Parent also Contributes Intelligence and a Loving, Intelligent, Energetic and Agile Dog that Sheds very little. The Cock-A-Poo is a Very People Oriented, with a Clown like Personality.
